Trapped in the haze of search engine optimisation? You’re not alone. Actually, it has been several days since I started learning about search engine optimisation Melbourne but to tell you the truth, I only have the general idea about it. With the couple of days-research I had, I learned that search engines usually rank your webpage according to the number of visits you had or the content your web pages have. To lead people to your webpage, you need to know the concept behind search engine optimisation. Still in the course of learning too so I hope nobody will mind if I share my knowledge but, correct me if I’m wrong.

To optimise a page, you have to use HTML tags and meta tags that are appropriate and will help search engines locate your website. After you have worked that out and applied it to the skeleton of your website, you need to start endorsing your page to the public. To do this, you need to search the appropriate keywords that people will usually input in Google or Yahoo to help them find something- specifically your page.

Although it’s just been three days, I know there’s much more to learn about search engine optimisation. So if anyone out there have comments or suggestions about my post, feel free to contact me.
