On Our Small Town House and Refurbishment Plans
The first home my wife and I have ever owned is our current home, a townhouse. We made our mind to ease into property ownership via buying a townhouse, because it presents ourselves a rest from the garden work that is normally called for when possessing a place. Our house is rather small, but it’s exactly the right size for us.
My partner and I have loaded our home with things that are remarkable and important to us, and the house is immaculate for what we want and need right now. The smaller the house, the smaller the area there is to keep clean and maintain, and this is useful as we determine the ins and outs of being house owners.
Finally, there are also one or two places in the property that require renovation – the flooring in the hallway for example. Also, there’s the odd truss roof above the ceiling that call for refurbishing.
All the same, the home is OK for the two of us nowadays, and down the line, it presents both of us the chance to do some changes to the home to make it even more our style. We enjoy the process of being home owners, and we enjoy our household.
