Quick Tip for Reading Omaha Low Hand
Quick Tip for Reading Omaha Low Hand In Omaha Hi/Lo two poker online players can split the pot – whoever holds the best poker hand, and whoever holds the worst, or lowest, hand possible using two of their pocket cards. High hands are usually easy to read. Determining the low hand though can be tricky for both new and experienced Omaha Hi/Lo players. There is one simple way to look at your possible low Everest Poker francais hand to determine if it is indeed the lowest possible. Instead of thinking of the low hand as 5-4-3-2-1, instead think of it as one whole number, 54,321 – which is the lowest hand in Omaha. The highest low hand is 87,654. Your low hand should be as close to the lowest number – 54,321 as possible given your two pocket cards and the three low cards on the board. Remember, your pocket cards have to be different than the ones on the board. A board with A-4-6-K-Q would yield the lowest hand to a player holding a 2-3 – which looks like 64,321. If you are holding an Ace or a six to make the low, your hand does not qualify. If you have 2-5, your low hand is 65,421 which is higher than 64,321. To be sure whether or not you are holding the low hand, assemble your low cards into one actual number, then consider what the actual lowest hand can be based on the cards on the board. If you hand is higher than that, it will probably not scoop half the pot.
